Rev. Matthew Bailey, FCM – Pastor
Father Matthew R. Bailey, FCM serves as a pastor of St. Joseph of Arimathea American National Catholic Church. He is a native of Connecticut and was ordained as a Priest in December of 2009 in New Haven. A graduate of the Catholic University of America, Fr. Matthew is a priest of the American National Catholic Church (ANCC) where he serves as Vicar General. He is also a solemnly professed member of the Franciscan Community of Mercy (FCM), where he is a founding member.
He previously served as the FCM Director of Vocations. He has a great interest in the study of the Gospel of Luke and the practice of liturgy as well as a strong devotion to the Divine Mercy. He enjoys the practice of spiritual reading.
Rev. Cheryl Smith – Parochial Vicar
Mother Cheryl Smith serves as Parochial Vicar of St. Joseph of Arimathea American National Catholic Church. She was ordained a priest of the ANCC in January of 2020.

Becca Beisler – Minister of Music
Rebecca (Becca) J Beisler is a professional singer and voice teacher and has studios in both New Haven and Stratford, Connecticut. She is an experienced pop/rock singer and has performed with classical chorales. She holds a B.A. in Music from the University of Bridgeport.

Tom DeMatteo – Parish Council Co-Chair
Tom joined the parish family nearly three years ago. Since then he has taken an active role in helping the parish to both grow and develop. He serves within St. Joe’s as Parish Council Co-Chair and also as a lector. He works as an attorney for the State of Connecticut and is currently one of the Assistant Legal Directors within his department.

Trish Lorange – Parish Council Co-Chair
Trish Lorange serves as co-chair of the St. Joe’s parish council.
